Windmill Ways started in 2016 after I spent the night tossing and turning, unable to convince my mind to hang out in dream land instead of haunting memories. “My life is like a windmill,” I thought. “Wherever the wind blows, I follow.” Although at times this where-will-the-wind-take-me kind of life was fun, I can also see how it lead to a lot of unnecessary heartache and ugly situations.

I was determined to not waste the lessons I learned from my wind-blown ways, so I used my mediocre web skills to create a place to share genuine stories online.
gen·u·ine /ˈjenyo͞oən/
- truly what something is said to be; authentic.
- (of a person, emotion, or action) sincere.
- possessing the claimed or attributed character, quality, or origin; not counterfeit; authentic; real.
Being a genuine story site means dropping the hype, shade, and ego before ever typing a word. Every post is a glimpse into a life—either mine or the life of a guest writer.
Write what should not be forgotten.
